Don Abenante is the creator and founder of Retro Fabworks. By day, he brings wild ideas to life in the shop. By night (and sometimes on TV), he's sharing his passion for building, inventing, and making cool stuff.

From custom one-offs to full-blown fabrication, Don lives for the challenge and loves turning "what if" into "heck yeah."

If it can be built, he'll figure it out.

My Story

What Drives Me

I grew up taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and putting them back together - usually make them cooler in the process.

That never changed.

Retro Fabworks is the place where creativity meets fabrication. It's more than a shop - it's my playground, my outlet, and my way of helping others bring their ideas to life.

My childhood curiosity and love for anything car, motorcycle or boat related pushed me to go to school for mechanical engineering. This is where I was able to fine tune my visions.

After school I had the opportunity to enter into television, and I fell in love with it. Not for the fame but as a media outlet to teach, entertain, and present my wild ideas to those who have the same love for all of it as I do.
