AWD EL CAMINO
FEATURED PROJECT
The AWD El Camino is a full tube chassis, full-time all-wheel-drive race car built with one goal in mind: absolute controlled chaos.
Powered by a Ford Godzilla engine and a Magnuson supercharger, the project is designed to blend brutal horsepower, custom engineering, and real-world drivability into one completely unhinged machine. Built to handle race tracks, street driving, events, and long-distance abuse, the El Camino represents the most extreme version of the Retro Fabworks mindset.
Every part of the build is rooted in experimentation, fabrication, and pushing limits while still maintaining refinement, functionality, and reliability. It’s not just a horsepower build — it’s an evolving engineering showcase designed to prove that wild ideas can still be driven, tested, and enjoyed in the real world.

1970 CHEVELLE
FEATURED PROJECT
The 1970 Chevelle is the world’s first Coyote-powered Chevelle — built in just two and a half months inside a small Rhode Island shop before being immediately pushed into a 2,700-mile road trip across the country to make SEMA 2025.
The car originally belonged to my dad, which made the project far more than just another engine swap. It became a way to preserve the soul and memories tied to the car while reimagining it through modern engineering, fabrication, and performance.
The entire build was a race against time filled with late nights, problem solving, fabrication, wiring, tuning, and figuring things out as we went. Instead of trailering the car to SEMA, the decision was made to drive it across the country — testing the car in real-world conditions through deserts, mountains, breakdowns, victories, and thousands of miles of memories.
The Chevelle represents the Retro Fabworks mindset: old-school muscle mixed with modern refinement, real-world drivability, and the belief that these cars should still be driven hard, evolved, and experienced.
